TEAGA (formerly The Encyclopedia Project) aims to collect and publish information about Australian glass artists and makers for architecture.
Australia’s first leadlight and stained glass was installed around the mid-19th century, and continues until the present day.
But who were the artists, designers, commercial firms, small studios, craftspeople, glaziers, and suppliers that all made a contribution to Australia’s remarkable corpus of glass in architecture?
This site aims to record the contributions they made, whether grand or small, and raise awareness of the history of this centuries-old art and craft.
